In 2015, a breakthrough in genetic modification leads to a "designer baby" boom. By the time these babies are born, their "style" is no longer in vogue, leading to a difficult childhood and alienating adolescence, living as aesthetic vestiges of a now-laughable era of fashion. Luckily, when the designer babies turn 20, their style becomes retro, and those babies get mega-laid.
