A woman flying a kite on a Coney Island beach realizes she grows a year younger with every hour she keeps the kite in the air. After she reaches her target age, she attempts to reel the kite in but finds that the winds will not let go of it. She tries everything she can think of to get the kite down, but by sunrise the next day, she has grown so young and small that the strength of the wind pulls her up and away.
