A college student drops out of school, but must stage a graduation ceremony in order to receive his parents’ praise and monthly stipend. He hires his boss at the movie theater to play the dean of students and casts homeless people in the roles of his graduating peers. His parents are wise to the ruse the whole time, but are so moved by the speech given by the homeless valedictorian that they decide to go along with it.
