A southern belle saves the last dance for her fiancé, who is about to go off to war. But the man can't dance, so the engagement is broken. Years later when the man returns home as a war hero, the southern belle regrets her petty decision and once more saves the last dance for him. The man still cannot dance, and he is stripped of his medals and honors.
